The Brief for this project was to design a human rights museum celebrating the new South Africa and our constitution. This project attempts to make the end user of the builder aware not only of their human rights but also of their own humanity through the mediums of sound and light. As such progression through the space is coupled with sensory experiences were light is restricted, rooms are flooded my light as well as spaces where sound is amplified, echoes are heard as well as places where the user is made accutely aware of the sounds they themselves make (Reflection chambers). THis is a work in progress and as such all input would be greatly appreciated.
